In Oregon, General Contractors are required to give homeowners, with whom they contract, certain notices at the time of contract.  These notices are:
 
Consumer Protection Notice  This information explains contractor licensing standards, bond and insurance requirements, steps consumers can take for successful construction project and what to do if problems occur.
 
Information Notice to Owner about Construction Liens Contractors that directly contract with residential property owners are required to give this notice to the residential property owner. This notice informs residential property owners about construction lien law. Residential property owners should read this form carefully.
 
Notice of Procedure  This notice explains the first steps a property owner must take before initiating a court action or arbitration against a contractor when the action is not filed with the CCB Dispute Resolution Services (DRS). It replaces the "Owner's Duty to Notify Contractor in the Event of a Construction Dispute".
